Triathlon Time Predictor
Estimate your finish time for a sprint, Olympic, middle or full-distance triathlon from your swim pace, bike speed, run pace and transition times.
Your fresh pace for this distance. The brick penalty is added for you.
How this is worked out
Swim and bike splits are straight arithmetic from the pace and speed you enter. The interesting part is the run.
A brick penalty is applied to your standalone run pace, because nobody runs their fresh pace off the bike: roughly 3% at sprint distance, 5% at Olympic, 8% at middle distance and 12% over an Ironman marathon. The penalty grows with distance because fatigue compounds — and closing that gap is precisely what brick training is for.
Bike speed dominates the total and varies enormously with course, wind and position, so it is the input worth being honest about.
